L’Eroica evokes the essence of cycling travel with us. From where we ride, to the locals we meet and the stories they tell. Cycling in Tuscany has a colorful past, including the exploits of the great Gino Bartali. His training routes included the gravel roads of Tuscany, which the iconic feature of the vintage ride l’Eroica.  But regardless of your bike, this trip is about a simpler time still prevalent in Tuscany.

RETHINKING TRADITIONS

THE MODERN FOOD AND WINE OF TUSCANY

Tuscan food is synonymous with Italy and has become somewhat ubiquitous. Our efforts to search out the new guard of Tuscany’s cooking and wine making scene has led us to uncover some of the most dynamic and delicious tastes, aromas and scents in areas of Tuscany very few, if any, tourists tread.  guidebooks and reputation leads travelers to the most well known and popularized spots, leaving the local culture for those who seek it out, like us, for you.

"YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!"

“I want you to know how much the trip I took with you has changed my life for the better. I’m looking everywhere for Tuscan bread, and only frequent coffee houses that make the best cafe’. I have also been presenting my own prepared dishes with more flare. The rides were unforgettable and if I could afford to train in Tuscany in the spring I would do it. Nothing else but the Alps would be more challenging! You guys are the best! Because of you, I’m raising my standards for red wine and have been seeking out Super Tuscans as well as classic Chiantis.”
